HWX Multi-stage Cylinder Wiper Seal is a polyurethane wiper seal developed for multi-stage hydraulic cylinders, particularly applications where the piston rod is oriented upward and operates in low to medium contamination environments.
The seal is designed to help prevent water and moisture from entering through the bottom of the groove, reducing the risk of corrosion inside the groove and helping protect the sealing system. Its application is particularly suitable for multi-stage cylinders exposed to external moisture and environmental contaminants.
What Is a Multi-Stage Hydraulic Cylinder?
A multi-stage hydraulic cylinder, also known as a telescopic hydraulic cylinder, consists of multiple nested stages that extend and retract sequentially. This design allows the cylinder to provide a long stroke while maintaining a relatively compact retracted length.
Multi-stage hydraulic cylinders are commonly used in equipment where a long working stroke is required but installation space is limited. Typical applications include dump trucks, construction machinery, lifting equipment, material handling equipment, and other heavy-duty hydraulic systems.
