YR polyurethane static seal is a robust sealing solution designed for hydraulic cylinders and other applications where reliable static sealing is required. Its symmetrical profile and high-performance polyurethane construction provide a stable seal while reducing the installation risks associated with conventional O-rings and backup rings.
Compared with a traditional O-ring and backup ring combination, the YR profile is less prone to twisting during installation and does not require a separate backup ring. Its strong polyurethane material provides excellent resistance to extrusion, making it suitable for applications exposed to pressure fluctuations and demanding operating conditions. The YR seal features two sealing areas that provide an additional sealing barrier between mating components. This dual-lip design helps maintain reliable sealing performance and reduces the risk of fluid leakage during service.
